Marushin Co., Ltd. has decided to adopt DHL Express's "GoGreen Plus" shipping service as part of its efforts to contribute to a more sustainable future.
"GoGreen Plus" is a service that can help reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions associated with transportation greenhouse gas emissions associated with transportation through the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). By using this service, Marushin will invest in SAF.
SAF is produced from biomass-derived materials such as used cooking oil and agricultural waste. When blended with conventional jet fuel, it can reduce the reliance on crude oil and lower carbon dioxide emissions.
Marushin will contribute to a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions generated during DHL Express transportation, and continue its efforts toward greater environmental responsibility.
